The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday 7th of September 2013 defeated the Flames of Malawi 2-0 at the U J Eseuene stadium in Calabar , Cross River state, goals from Emmanuel Emenike  and Victor Moses.  to qualify for final round of CAF qualification for  World Cup 2014

Super Eagles in camp for Malawi game

 
 
 






The Super Eagles camp at the Transcorp Metropolitan Hotel in calabar with  most of the star players already in camp, which include the likes of Enyeama, Mikel, Moses.

Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi said he is happy with the turn out of the players, and hope for a good result against Malawi on Saturday.

Peter Odemwingie moves to Cardiff City




Nigeria striker Peter Odemwingie has joined Cardiff City from West Bromwich Albion for a transfer fee of £2.25 million for a two years deal .
The striker who is 32 years old is happy with his new club,Cardiff City which is  newly promoted to the English Premier League


Nigeria striker Uche Nwofor joins Heerenveen on loan



Uche Nwofor has joined Dutch side SC Heerenveen on a year season loan from VVV Venlo. He reject a lot of offers from Russia and Turkey club sides.
The 21 years old who scored both Nigeria Super Eagles goal against South Africa 2.0 in a friendly match two weeks ago in South Africa.
He says he is delighted to continue playing in Holland and also working under Holland football legend Marco Van Basten .


Victor Moses signs for Liverpool








Nigeria forward Victor Moses have signed to Liverpool from Chelsea on loan for the rest of the season.
Moses who join Chelsea from Wigan for £9 million last August , but under new manager Jose Mourinho Victor Moses is yet to start a game, he is delighted to have moved on loan to a big club like Liverpool.
