John Mikel Obi
has withdrawn from the Nigeria squad that will face South Africa today in
the Mandela Challenge friendly in Durban.
The Nigeria and Chelsea player is suffering form a stomach bug and his club doctors wrote to the Nigeria Football federation asking for the player to be excused, but his Chelsea team mate is included in the nigeria team to South Africa in Durban
Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has accepted his request.
