Galatasaray has announced the departure of manager Roberto Mancini after just nine months in the job.
The Turkish club said the 48 - years - old italian , who guided Manchester City to the Premier League Title in 2011 - 12 , had departed by mutual consent.
Mancini led Galatasaray to second place in teir domestic league , and the last 16 of the champions League.
In a statement, the Club thanked Mancini for his efforts and wished him "happiness in his next mission".
